Get a Clear Vision of What You Want

The most important thing we must do, to ensure our success and to ensure that we get rich, is to have a clear picture of what we want. If we don’t know what we want or the picture of what we want is vague or uncertain, we run the risk of being influenced by others who may not be looking out for our best interests.

Making Decisions

People who fail to SUCCEED, without exception, have the habit of making decisions very slowly –if at all – AND of changing their minds QUICKLY and often.

-Napoleon Hill

Dynamic Thought

  • Most people live without a definite plan.
  • They simply drift through life.
  • When they “decide,” it is usually to drift.
  • If they do not “decide,” it is because drifting is easier.

To really decide is to make some definite idea dynamic.

adjective: dynamic

  • (of a process or system) characterized by constant change, activity, or progress.  “a dynamic economy”
  • (of a person) positive in attitude and full of energy and new ideas. “she’s dynamic and determined”

synonyms:    energetic, spirited, active, lively, zestful, vital, vigorous, forceful, powerful, positive, high-powered, aggressive, bold, enterprising, magnetic, passionate, fiery, high-octane; “he was eclipsed by his more dynamic colleagues”

antonyms:    half-hearted

noun: dynamic

A force that stimulates change or progress within a system or process. “evaluation is part of the basic dynamic of the project”

Exercise to Develop the Mood of Success

You are invited to devote five minutes of every morning to the quiet, intensely energetic and believing assertion made in the depths of the soul:

“I now belong to the successful class. I am a success.”

The statement should be repeated slowly and deliberately, again and again, until you feel yourself ready for achievement. Ignore every contrary suggestion or conviction. Don’t argue against appearances, but welcome every favorable thought. Don’t try to believe what you say. Willfully assume that you believe.

Repeat this affirmation during the day, whatever your occupation, regardless of conditions. One month may be sufficient, or you may need to observe the exercise many weeks, but ultimately you will find yourself possessed of a new spirit.

This is an excerpt from The Power Within: Discover the Secrets of Success Magnetism. Thousands of people just like you are already using it to experience amazing results in their lives.

Failure Doesn’t Just Happen to You: It’s Something You Accomplish

Ask people why they have been successful. Their answers will be filled with personal pronouns: I, me, and sometimes an occasional we.

Ask them why they failed and most will revert to childhood and try to distance themselves. Like the kid who says, “My toy got broken…” instead of, “I broke my toy.”

They’ll say the economy tanked or the market wasn’t ready or their suppliers couldn’t keep up. They’ll say it was someone or something else. When distancing yourself, you can’t learn from your failures.

Occasionally something completely outside your control caused you to fail, but most of the time, it’s you. And that’s okay.

Every successful person has failed. Numerous times. Most have failed a lot more often than you. That’s why they’re successful now!

Embrace every failure. Own it, learn from it and take full responsibility to ensure that next time, things will turn out differently.

What Will You Decide?

The last time this information surfaced was in the United States during late 1800’s. A man by the name of Frank Channing Haddock published a series of books under the name, The Power Book Library. These books were very popular at the time, but are largely forgotten today.

It just so happens that this was also the time period when people like Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Alexander Graham Bell were forming their perceptions of the world and deciding what “they were going to do with their lives.”

It’s still a mystery when these men actually read Haddock’s books, but take a look at some of the things they said. It’s very clear that they understood the concepts.

“If we did all the things we were capable of, we would literally amaze ourselves.” -Thomas Edison

“You say I started out with practically nothing, but that isn’t correct. We all start with all there is. It’s how we use it that makes things possible.”
Henry Ford

“What this power is, I cannot say. All I know is that it exists and it becomes available when a man is in the state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it.” – Alexander Graham Bell

It wasn’t that long ago when only a handful of people knew about this. Now there are thousands who are using The Power Within: Discover the Secrets of Success Magnetism to achieve amazing results in their lives.

Our descendants are going to look back at this time period and call it one of the greatest awakenings in history of mankind. You don’t want to get left behind – do you?
